Our brush cutters are capable of immediately processing fallen or standing scrub brush and trees up to 6 inches in diameter and vegetation of any size.
Material left will breakdown into soil over time — which varies with moisture content and plant matter make-up.
Forestry mulchers are capable of immediately processing standing or fallen trees and vegetation of any size.
All material is chipped into mulch, with stumps being cut at /or below ground level-enabling any rubber tired machinery to be used immediately for site maintenance by the land owner.
We use bi-directional, heavy-duty cutter blades on a rotary disc & double carbide or knife style chipper tools on a rotary drum.
In most applications we can mix ground contact with the material for faster decomposition. By contrast, soil compaction of a normal bull-dozer often results in more than 20% mortality for trees adjacent to work area.
By using forestry mulching equipment, we enable the client to selectively remove specific trees and brush.
More traditional methods of land clearing often result in numerous problems for the land-owner, including the expense of costly material haul-off, unsafe site burns, and possible damage to surrounding vegetation root systems.
